Welcome to Retrace (hereinafter referred to as "the App" or "we"). We understand that your investment records, trading logic, and financial data are highly sensitive personal privacy. Therefore, we have implemented the principle of "Privacy by Design" into the underlying architecture of our product.
This Privacy Policy is designed to explain to you what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect your privacy.
We do not collect, store, or have access to any of your trading records, tickers, review logic, amounts, or sentiment data. All your core data remains entirely in your own hands.
By default, all data you generate within the App (including trading targets, logic, risk points, notes, etc.) is securely stored locally on your device via Apple's native database (SwiftData).
If you are an annual subscriber and enable "iCloud Sync" in the settings, your data will be securely synced to Apple's CloudKit private database via your own Apple ID. This synchronization process is end-to-end encrypted, and no third party (including our development team) can read or access this data except you.
To provide a complete app experience, we may request the following system permissions in specific scenarios. All permissions will be explicitly asked before use, and you can revoke them at any time in your system settings:
The "Personal Name" in the "Me" page of the App is only used to display your nickname when generating share cards. This information is only saved locally on your device (via UserDefaults), and we do not collect it.
This App offers In-App Purchases (Retrace Pro subscription). All payment processes, order management, refunds, etc., are handled entirely by Apple Inc.'s StoreKit framework. We do not collect, process, or store your financial data, such as credit card information or billing addresses. We only receive anonymous subscription status from the Apple system (e.g., "Subscribed", "Expiration Date") to unlock premium features for you.
The App does not integrate any third-party behavioral tracking SDKs and will not track your daily click behavior across apps. We only rely on the anonymous crash logs and basic usage data provided by Apple's official system (which requires your proactive consent to share in iOS settings), solely for troubleshooting app crashes and optimizing the basic experience.
As the App's features evolve, we may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. In the event of a material change, we will notify you prominently in the App's release notes or within the App. By continuing to use the App, you agree to the updated Privacy Policy.
